Betty Louise Blocker, 71, of Crossett died Monday, November 20, 2006. Born September 1, 1935, in Crossett to Walter Lee and Ada Pittman Roberts, she was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include five sons, Kenneth Blocker of Crossett, Buddy Adams of Hamburg, Larry Blocker of Cloverdale, IN, Donny Blocker of Cheyenne, WY, and Tracy Adams of El Dorado; one daughter, Angie Crowder of El Dorado; two sisters, Christine McNeil of Vidor, TX, and Helen Sturdivant of Crossett; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie C. Blocker.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 24, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett with Bro. Steve Pelz officiating. Burial was at Promise Land Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
