ERROL BRIAN WINSON, Age 48, died on Saturday, May 29th, 2004, in an aircraft accident near Austin, Texas. Errol was born on February 21st, 1956, in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe (then called Rhodesia) to Eric Winson and Fleurette Naylor. He graduated from Marandellas High School in 1972 and performed his military service in the Rhodesian Light Infantry from 1972 to 1974. On December 5th, 1987, Errol married Kim Sheree Linder in Johannesburg, South Africa. From the early 1980s to the mid-1990s, Errol was the owner and operator of Elephant Hills Safaris, providing guided hunts in the African countries of Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Tanzania, and Namibia. Since the early 1990s, Errol concentrated on real estate development. He successfully developed, built, and operated several self-storage facilities in the Houston area. Errol is survived by his loving wife, Kim; his children, Taryn, Adam, and Courtenay; his grandson, Alexander; his parents, Eric Winson and Fleurette Teare; his brothers, Gary, Bruce, and Charles; and his sisters, Gayle and Melinda. He is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 2nd, from 5:00-8:00pm, and the Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 3rd, at 7:00pm, both held at Niday Funeral Home.
