Wayne Allen Sorsby grew up in Waller. Wayne was the only child of Cyrus and Edna Sorsby. He and I played together when I first moved to Waller. He taught me how to saw a straight cut on a board . He showed me how to place my thumb on the board where I wanted to cut and use it a guide for the saw. He was a special friend to my cousin Ralph Haney who was killed while riding his horse. Wayne Allen and he use to ride thier horses together. Wayne had a nice horse his father had given him. He was at Ralph's funeral and he really took it hard during the services.
Wayne had three children whe he was married to Suenita, Rebecca Lynn Sorsby, Howard Wayne Sorsby and Troy Sorsby.

Spouse: Jacie Sorrell Sorsby (1928-2000) married Wayne Allen August 1, 1964. They were happily married and had two children before his death.
