Margaret P. Lester, age 84, of Little Rock died Saturday, March 24, 2007. She was born January 1, 1923 at Ferndale, Arkansas to the late Jesse B. and Roberta E. Koon Miles. Mrs. Lester was a retired LPN from Baptist Hospital. She was a Methodist and enjoyed participating in the activities where she lived.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern D. Lester, Sr.; a daughter, Patricia Lester; and a brother, Carl Miles.
She is survived by her sons, Vern D. Lester, Jr. and wife, Wanda, Larry L. Lester, Sr. and wife, Margaret, and David R. Lester; a daughter, Judy A. Hampton and best friend, Billy Wilson; and sisters, Mary Cloud and Mavis McHughes Dobbyn; a host of grandchildren and great- grandchildren and extended family.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Spring Valley Cemetery at Ferndale. Arrangements are by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (501)224-8300.
