CAVOORES George T. Cavoores, 80, passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 4, 2002. Mr. Cavoores was pre-deceased by his wife, Charlotte, in 1999 and is survived by his sons, Ted (Peggy) Cavoores and Tom (Faye) Cavoores, both of Jacksonville, and John (Barbara) Cavoores of Monmouth Hills, New Jersey; daughter, Georgia (Frank) Cheswick of Chicago, IL; brother, Louis Cavoores; sister, Evelyn Gostas; thirteen grandchildren and one great- granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. This Morning, Friday, February 8, 2002, in the historic sanctuary of St. Josephs Catholic Church. The Rev. Dan Cody will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Community Hospice. The arrangements are under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home in Mandarin.
