She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Wildwood, N.J., to the late Sarantos and Vasiliki Pappas Goranitis. She was a restaurateur and a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

Survivors: son, Elliott H. Costas of Victoria.
