Bernice was a wonderful person, and aunt to Joyce Roush, who spent many summers at her home. Aunt Bernice earned a few dollars spending money by doing hair for her friends, and would buy fabric for Joyce to make a dress in home-ec class, but Uncle Frank was not to know. Aunt Bernice moved to Springfield, Ohio to be near her daughter, after Uncle Frank died. She later went in to a retirement center.
