Note

David S. Blank was reared in Salisbury township, and educated in the public schools. When he was twenty-four he began cultivating on his own account a farm of his father, in Salisbury township, remaining there until coming to his present home in
1868, to dwell on what has become under his capable tillage one of the very best farms in this section of the county. It comprises eighty-six acres, every foot of which is under high cultivation. Mr. Blank is a prominent and influential citizen, takes an intelligent interest in public affairs, and is one of the broad-minded and progressive men of the day.
