Per Joyce Moore: James and Elizabeth came to Texas after they were married. Arrived in Texas in Feb. 1830, and joined by her brother William Dearduff, March 1831. In 1836 James George and William Dearduff were two of the "Immortal 32" from Gonzales that joined Travis in the Alamo and died March 6, 1936.
