Roberta A. Iiames, 150 Sesame St., Springboro OH 45066-1073, says Thomas IMES was the ninth child of Peter IMES and Jemima "Monima" (BAGLEY) IMES, who married January 21, 1822, in Lawrence County, Ohio. Peter died before 1845 in Lawrence County, and Jemima married Michael SAXTON and moved to Stark County, Illinois. Later, she married Nicholas STURM. Her parents were John BAGLEY and Rhoda RANSELEAR, Iiames says.
Siblings of Thomas IMES, according to Roberta Iiames' records, were Mary Ann IMES, born 1829, probably in Lawrence County, Ohio; November 5, 1848, in Stark County, Illinois, George W. ELSTON; Monima IMES, born about 1830; Rhoda IMES, born about 1831; Lucinda "Lovinda" IMES, born January 1, 1832, in Ohio, married July 20, 1846, in Lawrence County, Ohio, to Daniel PENDLETON, died January 8, 1900, in Greenup County, Kentucky; Elisabeth IMES, born about 1835; George IMES, born about 1836 in Ohio; married Emeline WADE, died 1886 in South Webster, Bloom Township, Scioto County, Ohio; Peter IMES, born about 1838 in Ohio; and Martin IMES, born about 1840.
