Letters from Irene Berg to Jill Rigg, 1980, in file: "Since I received the military records of William S. Williams the only information I did gain from that was that he was born in Dover, New Jersey 1787. The rest of the information was obtained from the 1850 Census. In all my searching I cannot find his father.
I was also told that Elizabeth Morris Williams, wife of William S. Williams, grandfather was Robert Morris. So far I have been unable to find the father of Elizabeth or the children of Robert Morris (signer of the Declaration of Independence) married to Mary White
