Daniel HERCHELROTH
(18 December 1769 - 1840)
In 1796 he bought one of the first lots in Elizabethton, Carter County, TN. He volunteered as a private in the 1812 War in May, 1813 and rose to 3rd Sgt. when discharged May, 1815. He lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri territory.
