Dr. Johannes BLANK

( - January 1790)

Moved his family from Canton, Berne, Switzerland, to Mimelgart, Germany then in 1751 to America (Oct. 4, 1751 on the ship, Queen of Denmark, from Rotterdam, Holland).

First settled in Heidelberg Twp., Berks Co., PA (Northkill Colony by the Blue Mountains) where he continued his medical practice along with farming. Later (1769)moved to Salisbury Twp., Lancaster Co., PA.

Tradition has it that two orphan boys, John Holly and an Umble boy immigrated with them.

IMMIGRATION: also given as ship St. Andrew, from Rottedam, and from Plymouth, Eng., controlled by James Abercrombie, landing at Philadelphia Sept. 23, 1752.
