Er kaufte das Gasthaus in Stein Nr. 14, Pfarre Gleink am 9.9.1835 - zu diesem Zeitpunkt war er noch ledig. 25.9.1835 Heirat mit Theresia Thomandl. 2.10.1835 Abschluß eines Ehevertrages, in welchem stand: Ehegattin als Besitzerin grundbucherlich am Gasthaus eingetragen. Weiters steht noch im Ehevertrag. Theresia war ganz arm und brachte in die Ehe nichts mit! Josef Mayrhofer war bis 1846/1847 "Wirth beym Stein Nr. 14" = Wirt beim Stein Nr. 14 (am Landgericht Schloß Steyr grundbucherlich eingetragen.) Josef Mayhofer war von 1847 bis 1875 Gastwirt in Garsten, Platzl 2. Josef Mayrhofer war ab 18.6.1867 alleiniger Besitzer, da seine Gattin am 20.5 1867 starb. Johann Mayrhofer war ab 1875 Besitzer vom Gasthaus laut Grundbuch Garsten folio 388 EZ 1878 ------------- Translated notes from Arne Riedl Josef Mayrhofer was an unmarried house servant for Innkeeper Johann Leopold Mayreder in Linz, Adolf Hitler Platz 19. He bought the Gasthouse at Stein Nr. 14, in Gleink parish, on Sept 9, 1835. At this time he was still single. On 25 Sept, 1835, he married Theresia Thomandl. On 2 October, 1835 he completed a marriage contract in which it says: Spouse as owner of Guesthouse registered. Later stands again in contract. Therersia was completely poor and brought nothing to the marriage. Josef Mayrhofer was, up to 1846 or 1847 Inkeeper at Stein Nr. 14 ( registerred in the landbuch in the county court in Steyr Schloß ) Josef Mayrhofer was from 1847 to 1875 the Innkeeper at Garsten Platzl 2. Josef Mayrhofer was from 18 June 1867, the only owner, his wife died 20 May, 1867. Johann Mayrhoffer was from 1875 owner of the Inn, according to the Registration book in Garsten, folio 388, EZ 1878.
