Blanche must have been pretty independent. She smoked at a time when smoking for women met with disapproval. Blanche buried in ParkLawn Cemetery in Etobicoke. Reta probably born and died in Belleville. Grace's first husband Charles Myron Crane was a Doctor from Hollywood, Calif. Divorced in early 1930's. Helen was named after the Dr. that delivered her, Dr. Rolph. Helen's husband Eccles was from Southampton, England. After the wedding she went to England and remained there. Both wedding announcements for Grace and Helen mentioned that their great grandfather Sills was a United Empire Loyalist, and that their great grandfather Butler was a Baptist knapsack preacher settling in York county. (He had come from England). Comment by R.E. Butler: This seems to contract other information that says that John Butler settled in Rawdon. Esther says there is a Butler beside a church in Kettleby, North of Toronto in York County. (Check Belden's Atlas of York County) Blanche died in 1935. Bert was living at 315 Beresford Ave, Toronto. He married Mabel Davison in Nov 1936. Burton Sills is listed in the Toronto Directory of 1902 as a resident of Belleville. He first appears as a housholder in Toronto in 1909 at 484 Clinton, in 1910 he is listed at 590 Markam, 1913 to 1918 listed at 367 Sunnyside. Toronto City Directory 1909 Sills, Burton H., vice-pres and mng dir Peerless Motor Specialty Co, Ltd h 484 Clinton He is listed as the householder at 484 Clinton.
