Her Daughter Pearl Bailey shows in her Family History Bible the following
Mother as Betty
Mothers Father name as Hodges
Mother's Mother name as Delang
My best assumption so far is that Betty is a nickname for Bertha and that her maiden name was Hizer which is stated on marriage license to Alfred and that her Mothers maiden name was Delang or De Long. I believe these two were her parents in Germany as stated in Census report that mother was from Germany. I account for the errors of Pearl Bible is that she never really knew her mother since she died at the age of two and on her wedding license it is stated "unknown" for mother's maiden name.
