Lee Bafalon October 24, 1942 - March 18, 2005 Passed away Friday, March 18, 2005 in Ventura, CA, after a two-year battle with cancer. A twenty-year resident of the Bay Area, graduate of San Francisco Law School and retiree from Chevron, U.S.A. He was born in New York, a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and Hobart College, Geneva, NY. He served in the USAF and decorated as a Captain during the Vietnam War. A beloved husband, father and friend, he was 62 years old. Survived by his wife, Lou E. (Herney) Bafalon, Port Hueneme, CA, daughter, Helen A. (Bafalon) Maloney, San Francisco, and brother, Evans Bafalon of New York. He was an Eagle Scout, and a member of the State Bar of CA, the American Bar Assn., the American Assn. of Petroleum Landmen, the Coalition for Enhancement of Marine Resources, the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots Assn. and Major League Baseball's most avid New York Yankees fan. Services will be Friday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m. at The Presidio, the SF Nat'l Cemetery. Reception at the Officers' Club-Moraga Room. Internment at the San Joaquin Valley Nat'l Cemetery, Gustine, CA.
