Death
Mrs. Fannie Beatrice Williams Furr, aged 85, passed away at her home, 401 South Church St. at 9:40 p. m. Wednesday. In failing health for several months Mrs. Furr had been confined for the past two weeks. A native of Alabama, she had resided in Collin County the past 68 years and in McKinney for 63 years. She was born February 17, 1861, at Lafayette, Ala. She was married at the First Methodist Church here in 1879 to H. E. G. Furr, who passed away July 18, 1946. They were the first couple to be married in the Methodist church. She was a member of the Wilcox Street Methodist.The Courier-Gazette, McKinney, Texas, September 5, 1946
