Earline Furr Kearney, 84, of Batesville, died Thursday, August 29, 2002, at Beverly Health Care of heart failure. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 31, at 2 p.m. at Lee Chapel First Baptist Church in Batesville. Burial was in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Kearney, daughter of the late Ebbert Earl and Ruby Mae Branscome Furr, was born November 29, 1917, in Panola County. She was the widow of Hugh Glenn Kearney She was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Keen Agers and the Woman's Missionary Union. Survivors include two daughters, Dianne K. Hood of Nesbit and Glenda K. Henry of Franklin, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Johnathan Kearney Wright and Molly Kathryn Henry, both of Franklin, and Kelley Anne Henry of Memphis, Tennessee; and a great-grandchild, Joshua Kearney Wright of Franklin. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Panola Avenue, Batesville, Mississippi 38606.
