Death
Mrs. Ruth Jane Furr, 86, of Pascagoula died Monday, Sept. 24, 1990, in Little Rock, Ark. Mrs. Furr was born July 4, 1904, in Lawrence County. She was a retired teacher and a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laney Ray Furr. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marion Spivey of Little Rock; two grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula, where friends may call an hour before service time. Entombment will be in Jackson County Memorial Gardens, Pascagoula. O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula is in charge of arrangements.Sun Herald, Biloxi, Mississippi, September 27, 1990
