Death
Mrs. Flake (Gennivee) Young, 64, of 200 W. Ave B, died at 8:55 p.m. Saturday at the Shannon Hospital after an illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Johnson's Funeral Chapel with Dr Gordon Clinard, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Young was born Oct. 5, 1904 in Brookhaven, Miss. She had been a resident of San Angelo for 28 years. She was married to W. F. Young in 1932 at Pecos. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; a sister, Mrs. Si Parkman of Brookhaven, Miss; two brothers, Lester Furr of Jackson, Miss. and Colon Furr of Detroit, Mich.Endnotes
