Death
Anita L. Stanislav, 75, long-time resident of Parker, Texas, passed away Jan. 28, 2007, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the funeral home with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plano, Texas, followed by a 3 p.m. burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in West, Texas. Anita was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Cat Springs, Texas, to Herman and Vivian (Furr) Nitschke. She graduated from Smithville High School and Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Waco. In 1954, she married Leonard R. Stanislav. She was employed by the VA Hospital in Temple and Dallas Presbyterian Hospital. She was a founding member of the Parker Women's Club. A loving wife and mother, she is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leonard; son, Terry and wife, Debra; son, Mark and wife, Annette; son, Paul; daughter, Monica and husband, David; son, Chad and wife, Stacey; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones.
