Application for Letters of Administration filed Jan 9, 1871 in Rowan CO NC Probate Crt in the matter of the Estate of Matthias Furr Dec'd. before A. Judson Mason , Probate Judge. Daniel Corl [may be Daniel Correll listed in 1870 Rowan CO census; spelled Corl, Carrell & Correl in 1860 Rowan CO NC census] swore that Matthias Furr late of sd CO is dead without leaving any Will or Testament, and that Daniel Corl is the proper person entitled to Letters of Administration on the sd Estate, and that the value of sd Estate, so far as can be ascertained at the date of this application, is abt $200 and that Polly Furr (widow), Mathias F./T. Furr and Minnie S. Furr (infants under the age of twenty! one and residing in the county of Rowan) are entitled as heirs and distributees thereof.
