Death

Bonita “Bonnie” Ann Stines, age 75, passed away peacefully April 20, 2025. She was born on November 15, 1949 in Mooresville, NC to the late Paul and Perry Neville. She retired as an Insurance Claims Adjuster. Bonnie found joy in visiting Folly Beach, camping at Linville Falls, and dancing whenever she had the chance. An avid reader, she always had a book in hand. Her faith was her anchor, and her Bible never far from her hands—or her heart. Above all, she was a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Chris Stines; daughter, Tracy Furr and husband David; grandchildren, Dalvin, Trey and Deja; stepdaughters, Christal Winters, Raquel Shoemaker and husband Chris and Irene Cline and husband Zach; step grandchildren, Isayaha McKown, Brooklyn, Alexis, Carly, Raven, Leighanne and Jesse; father-in-law, Wilburn Stines; sisters-in-law, Ronda Huneycutt and Trina Stines. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her sister, Debbie Rogers and mother-in-law, Vickie Stines. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at Carothers Funeral Home – Dallas.
