Death
Tyler Ray Jantzen, of Tyrone, Okla., died July 10, 2007, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas. Tyler was born July 24, 1991, in Elko, Nev., the son of Annette Furr Jantzen. Tyler would have been a sophomore at Tyrone High School. He was on the football team, where he liked playing defense and lifting weights. He loved to hunt and fish and went to Kaw Reservoir where he enjoyed driving the boat. Riding horses and playing Halo on his XBox with his friends was a lot of fun for Tyler. Preceding him in death are his grandfather, Floyd Furr; two cousins, Johnny McCoy and James Edward Smith. Survivors include: his mother, Annette Jantzen of Tyrone; one brother, Timothy Jantzen and his wife Angela of Tyrone; one sister, Stacey Jantzen of Liberal; maternal grandmother, Eula Mae Furr of Tyrone; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Jaicee, Kara, Chelsey and Kieran and many relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, at the Tyrone Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Tyrone Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. in Hooker, Okla.Endnotes
