Death
Mrs. W.E. Chandler died suddenly yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wade H. Furr in Amarillo. Mrs. Chandler had been in poor health for some time, but had not been considered seriously ill. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Furr, Mrs. Warren Cretney of Amarillo, and Mrs. Vernon Cochran of Childress. Also surviving is one son, George Chandler, of the U.S. Army. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of the son, now stationed in Pennsylvania.Borger Daily Herald, Boger, Texas, January 5, 1944
