Death

Jerry William Floyd, age 85 passed away peacefully March 6, 2024 at Tucker Hospice House with family by his side. He was born August 4, 1938 in Charlotte, NC to the late Grady and Virginia Floyd. Jerry proudly served in the US Navy. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, golfing, and spending time with his family. Along with his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his son, W. Bradley Floyd; his
siblings, Curtis Floyd, Burton Floyd, and Patsy Floyd Perkins. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 27 years, Patsy Furr
Floyd; his beautiful children, Ashley (Will) Floyd, Janet (David) Floyd Snyder, Gerrianne Holland, Tiffani (Brent) Saffell, and Tangi (Kevin) Teague; his grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Patrick, William, Kailynn; his step grandchildren, Garrett, Colby, Blake, Faith, and Camden; great grandson, Mason; his sister, Shirley Huckabee; many extended family members and lots of friends. Jerry will also be greatly missed by his beloved fur baby Jasper. A Celebration of Life will be held this Sunday, March 10th at 3:00 p.m. at: Boger's Chapel UMC, 1775 Flowe Store Rd. East, Concord, NC 28025, Cabarrus Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery is honored to be serving the Floyd family.
