Death

Funeral services for Mrs. Edna McKenzie, 52 years of age, were conducted at the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church last Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock. Rev. Less May, pastor, assisted by Rev. Carmichael of White Bluff, conducted the services. Interment was made in the Hurricane Creek Cemetery. Mrs. McKenzie died last Saturday evening at her home near Sandy Hook. Mrs. McKenzie is survived by her husband A.Z. McKenzie, one son, Hillery, of Sandy Hook; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Magee of Foxworth, Mrs. G.W. Furr of Sandy Hook, Mrs. C.M. Simmons, of Columbia; six brothers E.T. Lowe, Teet Lowe, Willis Lowe of McComb, Cassie Lowe and Alonzo Lowe of Foxworth and R.L. Lowe of Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Steve Corban of Gilbert, La; Mrs. Tom Ivey of Foxworth.
