Death
Dr. F. E. Hartsell for 40 years a practicing physician of Oakboro died in a hospital here at noon today. He was 62 years old and had been in poor health for several weeks. Dr. Hartsell was a graduate of the University of Maryland. He was a Mason and a member of the Methodist church. He is survived by three sons, Jack of Charlotte, A. D. and David Hartsell of Oakboro; seven daughters, Mrs. H. B. Sessoms of Fayetteville: Mrs. H. L. Austin of Wingate, Mrs. Pritchard Goodman of New London and Misses Emma Hartsell of Charlotte and Mary Jewell, Virginia and Jane of Oakboro.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, February 15, 1932
