Death
POPLARVILLE - Services are scheduled for 11 am. Wednesday at Byrd's Chapel United Methodist Church for Clara “Mike” Furr, 89, of Poplarville, who died May 12, 2002, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Byrd's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was a member of Byrd's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Clan Ferguson Society of North America. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Furr Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Jane C. Beard of Poplarville; two grandchildren and one great-grand-child. Memorials may be made to Byrd's Chapel Methodist Church. Visitation will be 9-11 am. Wednesday at Byrd's Chapel United Methodist Church.
