Death
Jesse Allen Hammond, 71, south-central Kansas City, died September 23, 1987, at the home. He was born in Cemeteview, Missouri and lived in this area 46 years. Mr. Hammond was a member of the Red Bridge Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Naomi Ritchie, Lee's Summit, Carol Druen, Kansas City, Judy Furr, Gradview and Marcine Rowland, North Kansas City; two brothers, James Sedalia, Missouri and Gene Hammond, Independence, Missouri; a sister, Pearl Weber, Kansas City, eight grandchildren and a great grandchild. Services will be at 10 A.M. Saturday at the chapel; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. today at the Park Lawn Chapel.
