HAMILTON - Mrs. Ellen Rouse Overturf, 67, wife of Wayne Overturf and a resident of Darby from 1907 until 1940, died in her home in Portland, Ore., Saturday. Services and burial were held in Portland. She was born at Fort Ellis, Sept 27, 1899. The family moved to the Bitter Root when she was 8. She was married Jan. 27, 1918, in Darby. Surviving with the husband are a brother, Frank Rouse of Hamilton; sisters, Mrs. Robert Nicholson at Darby, Mrs. Blanche Boyce, San Gabriel, Calif.; Mrs. Alice Flint, Pablo; daughters, Mrs. Velma Nichenko, Mrs. Peggy Whietzell, both of Portland; Mrs. Emma June Irvine, Spokane; Mrs. Betty McCauley, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Lena McLean, Anchorage, Alaska.The Missoulian, Missoula, Montana, 29 Sep 1967
