AMUNDSEN, Lawrence "Larry" of West Sacramento, passed away September 22, 2008 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 31 years to Mary Amundsen. Loving father of Lee (Masako) Amundsen, Cathy (Bob) Vincent, Conway Amundsen, Jeanne (Kurt Herzog) Amundsen & Wendy (Eric Mitchel) Amundsen. Stepfather of Jim, Angie, Chip & Glenn. Devoted grandfather of Tomi, Chris, Vanessa, Ryan, Max and Hayley. Step grandfather of Chris, Rachelle, Cheyenne, Ian, Archie, Melissa, Aaron, Ashley & Katelin. Great grandfather of Amaya & Hannah. Great step grandfather of Declan. Also survived by his first wife of 25 years, Kay Amundsen. Larry was a noted structural engineer who worked on numerous projects throughout the states of California, Nevada & Utah. He was past president of the Structural Engineers Association of California. Dad was an avid back-packer and golfer who passed his love of Desolation Valley & golfing on to his family. Visitation hours will be Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the River Cities Funeral Chapel. Funeral services on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2667 Linden Rd., West Sacramento, Ca.
