ALBEMARLE, March 24-- Mrs. Josie Ellen Austin, 79, died this morning about 4 o'clock at the home of ner daughter, Mrs. A, L. Ledbetter, Albemarle, Route 1. Mrs. Austin was the former Miss Josie Ellen Barrow. daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Barrow of Bennettsville, S. C. She was thrice married, with children surviving from the first two unions. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm. at Randalls Methodist church near Norwood, and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Austin is survived by seven daughters, including Mrs. H. M Clark of Charlotte; one son, one brother, a half sister, 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
