Geneva B. Braswell Beatty Mrs. Beatty, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, August 2, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital Main. She was 81. Geneva was born September 11, 1922 in Union County, NC to the late Ernest M. and Azalee Gordon Bradley. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 6, 2004 at Sharon Memorial Park with Pastor Theo Craig officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 5, from 7-9 PM at Lowe Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road. Mrs. Beatty is survived by her children, Curtis L. Braswell, Vickie B. Furr and Barry T. Braswell; grandchildren, Melissa Graham, Kathy Broom, Stephanie Furr, Ted Furr, Jr. and Steven Braswell; and great-grandchildren, Simone Broom, Joshua Furr, Haley Furr and Gracy Furr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry E. Braswell and two sisters, Margaret B. Faulk and Avis Bradley.
