Hiram Weachter V, 43 of 639 Gillespie St., passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Cumberland County after succumbing to injuries resulting from a car accident. Hiram was born January 6, 1980 in Cumberland County to Linda Few Furr and the late Hiram Beard Weachter IV. Hiram made his living as a mechanic and was the owner of 1st Time Fix 24hr Emergency Auto Repair in Fayetteville. Hiram enjoyed fishing, bowling, and driving his side by side in the mountains. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone when needed. In honoring his wishes, Hiram will be cremated. No services will be held at this time. Hiram is preceded in death by his father: Hiram Weachter IV; his paternal grandparents: Delores and Hiram Weachter III; and his maternal grandparents: Barbara Jean and Bobby Martin Furr. Left to cherish the memory of Hiram is his fiance: Angela Lockamy of the home; daughter: Meghan Weachter of Hope Mills; his mother: Linda Few Furr of Salemburg; siblings: Chad Weachter of Fayetteville and Heather Weachter of Autryville; one granddaughter: O'livia Hall; and three fur-babies: Maximus, Buster, and Felix.
