Alfred "Alf" WEILENMANN

Mr. and Mrs. Alf Weilenman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Driver Hotel in Graham, Texas. They were married at Albia, Iowa on 27 February 1888. Mr. and Mrs. Weilenman first came to Young County, Texas in 1909 making their home in Newcastle, where Mr. Weilenman was the stationary engineer for the light plant in which he owned half-interest. The moved to Amarillo, Texas in 1927 and later moved to Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Weilenman is the only surviving member of his family born in the United States. His parents moved to the United States from Switzerland 1858.
