Death

Charles Eppinette of Benton, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 28, at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Charles (Pop) and Wilma Galbreaith; and father, Don Eppinette. Charles will be remembered as a fun-loving, practical joke-playing, generous son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. Charles was one of the first men to graduate from the Baptist School of Nursing as a registered nurse. Prior to that he was an EMT and an auxiliary police officer. Charles is survived by his wife, Chris Eppinette; mother, Cletus Eppinette; children, Kristi Record, Kelly (Nate) Furr, CW Eppinette, Jordan Eppinette, Ricky and David Tankersly; sister, Jan Moore; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, May 1, 2021, from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ashby Funeral Home, 108 W. Narroway St., Benton, Ark. 72015. Services to follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ashby's Funeral Home. Minister will be Bro. Kim Hammer.
