Death
Doris Mae Lohr Furr, 82, of Woodbridge, Virginia, formerly of Madison, Virginia, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012. She was born on December 23, 1929, in Madison, a daughter of the late Edwin Swan Lohr and Edith Mae Clore Lohr. Mrs. Furr is survived by a daughter, Karen Furr Crocker of Easley, South Carolina; two sons, Erick Walter Furr of Woodbridge, and Douglas Edward Furr and his wife, Kathleen, of Stafford, Virginia; two sisters, Janice Lohr Harris and her husband, Jim, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Mary Louise Bowman of Neosho, Missouri; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, with interment at Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery. Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison is in charge of arrangements.Published in the Daily Progress on June 25, 2012
