Death
Thomas S. Shank died at his home in in (sic) Albemarle last Thursday, February 19 at 3:50 p.m. Mr. Shank was born and reared in Cabarrus county, but has been living in Albememarle (sic) for some time. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Sarah Shank; four children Charlie A., Jimmie, and Croker Shank and Mrs. Mamie Lowder; and one brother. Mr. Shank became a member of the Methodist church when he was only a boy and continued a member all his life. He was born in 1848. He was buried at Salem church house. Mrs. Shank and children desire to express their appreciation for the many acts of kindness received during the illness of husband and father, Thomas S.
