Death
Sarah Frances Furr, 72, of 364 Corl St., Concord, died at 9:10 a.m. Monday, March 30, 1998, in NorthEast Medical Center. His (sic) funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at graveside in Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Jimmy Furr will officiate. There will be no visitation. Born Dec. 16, 1925, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Roy Newton and Ruth Etter Small Wilkenson and was retired housekeeping supervisor for Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Louis Monroe “Tunie” Furr, preceded her in death. She is survived by six sisters, Kathleen Yow, Virginia Yow, Della Freeman and Mildred Cook, all of Concord, Carol Fiink (sic) and Joan Fink, both of Mt. Pleasant; and a grandchild. The family will be at the home of Carol Fink, 9020 Mt. Olive Rd., Mt. Pleasant. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, North Carolina Affiliate, Inc., P.O.
