Death
LULU FURR, 59, of Hollywood and formerly of Van Nuys, died Thursday. The funeral service was held today in the Praiswater chape. Burial was in Forest Lawn. She is survived by two sons, John A. Anwiler of Studio City, and Edward R. Anwiler of Studio City. A brother lives in Monroe, Mich.The Van Nuys News and Valley Green Sheet, Van Nuys, California, August 9, 1948
Lulu May Furr, aged 57, was pronounced dead last night on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital Burbank, after being brought here by ambulance from a resort cottage at Corona Del Mar. Mrs. Furr, who was the mother of J. G. Autwiler of Studio City had been visiting at the beach cottage for several days and became ill yesterday. Her condition was termed critical by a doctor who examined her and ordered the trip to the hospital.
