MOCKSVILLE – Mrs. Floy Louise Robbins Keaton, 92, of Huffman Road, died Saturday June 29, 2019, at Bermuda Commons in Advance. She was born February 19, 1927, in Wilkes County to the late Silas and Dora Hall Robbins. Mrs. Keaton was a very loving, caring, and spiritual lady who loved her family and her church very much. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Wiley “Buddy” Keaton, Jr.; three sisters, Mary Seamon, Ina Ruth Phillips, and Laura Kimrey; and five brothers, Charlie, Dwight, S.K., Carl, and Kenny Robbins. Survivors include four children, Carolyn Hoots of Yadkinville, Gary Keaton, Betty Furr (Paul), and Tommy Keaton, all of Mocksville; four grandchildren, Barbara Boger (Scott), Mark Cable (Angie), Paul Cable (Tabitha), and Jason Keaton (Amanda); seven great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Darrell Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday July 2, at Eaton Funeral Home.
