Death

Michael Mike Harris, age 65, of Cohutta, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Harris. Mike loved his family with all his heart and most of all his beautiful bride of 44 years Kay. He wanted for everyone to know that he loved Jesus but most importantly that Jesus loves each and every one. Mike liked socializing, gardening in his back yard and Alabama football. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Kay Campbell Harris; daughter and son-in-law, Becci and Virgel Furr of Soddy Daisy, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Michelle Harris of Cohutta; mother, Betty Harris of Cartersville; brother, Tony Harris of Adairsville; 5 grandchildren, Ani, Ruston, Trystan, Dominic and Duke; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Laura Campbell and Tim and Theresa Campbell; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob & Betty Campbell; nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
