Death

LANCASTER – Mrs. Betty Traywick Eller, 88, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2018. She was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Belmont, N.C., the daughter of the late William F. Traywick and Minnie Rollins Traywick. Mrs. Eller was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her family and friends. She was kind and loving to all she met and truly enjoyed all her animals. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Eller; her parents; a twin brother who died at birth; her brothers, Robert Traywick, Edward Traywick, Mason Traywick and Danny L. Agnew; and a stepsister, Helen Holt. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Furr and her husband, Ken; a son, Jimmy Eller and his wife, Robin; a sister, Gloria Polston and her husband, Shorty; her grandchildren, Wendy Ellis and her husband, Tommy, Ryan, Tyler and Jeremy Eller, and David Furr and his wife, Tamra; her great-grandchildren, Garrett Ellis, Kelly Ellis, Joshua Ellis and Micalah and Chase Furr; her great-great-grandchildren, Madison Ellis, Bryce and Kinsley Killough, Braylee Ellis and Wyatt Furr; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Second Baptist Church, with the Revs. Scott Robinson, Casey Swails and Larry Helm officiating.
