Death
Jack Elmore -- Age 76, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Dauphin Street on Friday, November 14, 2003. He worked for Bayou Telephone Company for over 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lucy Elmore and one brother, Levoid Elmore. He is survived by his loving wife of over 54 years, Joyce Bosarge Elmore; three daughters, Evelyn Capps, Sally (Ken) Furr and Joy (Otis) Collier; three sons, Lendon (Sharon) Elmore of Lucedale, MS, Russell (Linda) Elmore of Jacksonville, FL and Billy (Beverly) Elmore; one sister, Dorothy Elmore; one brother, Tony Elmore; nineteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Service will be held today, Saturday, November 15, 2003 from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Oddfellow Cemetery.
