My birth name is Jacquelyn Michele Furr. I was born January 3, 1972, in Orleans Parish, New Orleans, LA. I was adopted on July 10, 1973 and I am trying to locate my birth mother, Barbara Lynn Furr (Furr is her maiden name). According to my limited information, it seems that she lived in the South Mississippi or New Orleans, LA area 30 or so years ago. She is probably in her 50s. I have never seen or had any contact with her. If you know her, know where she is or have any information about her I would be so very grateful if you would share it with me. I am not looking for anything from her because my parents (my adoptive parents, that is) are my mother and father and have provided me with a wonderful home, a very loving family and everything I need to make me very happy and content. I would just like to talk with her and know something about my roots.
