Sara Pennington May 5, 1933 - December 13, 2016 Butler, GA- Funeral services for Sara Underwood Pennington, 83, of Butler, GA will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00pm at Bethel Congregational Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Butler Memorial Cemetery. Ms. Pennington passed on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Udolpho Sikes and Martha Jane Underwood, and a son, Johnny Pennington. Survivors: three daughters, Dawn Smith (Allen), Jodi Furr (Jerry), and Paige Brooks (Allen); two sisters, Nellie Taunton (H.D.) and Amie Jean DiLeonardo (Jack); eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home in Butler. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to H3 Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. 115 Danny Morrell Rd.
