Death

WEST END, NC Barry B. Brenneman, 78, formerly of Malvern and Manchester, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of LaDonne Brenneman, who died on June 5, 1968. He was born April 15, 1936, in Manchester and was the son of the late Harry and Sadie (Hartman) Brenneman. He was employed for Clark Chevrolet Cadillac in Pinehurst, N.C. before retiring. Prior to moving to West End, he was employed by General Sales Cadillac and Oldsmobile in West Chester. Barry proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Barry is survived by his children, Laura Gaylin, Michele Marra, Dawne Anderson, Lisa Furr, Debbie Powell, David Brenneman and Frank Brenneman; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Harrington. A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Manchester Union Cemetery, where he will be buried with Military Honors. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Philip K. Nace. Local arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
