Glennie Lee William Dick, 83, of Albemarle passed away Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 in Stanly Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be graveside at 11 AM on Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 with Rev. Delane Burris and Rev. Ken Burris officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Born June 26, 1931 in Montgomery Co., NC, she was the daughter of Annie Dennis Williams and was a retired employee of Knitsters. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Cecil Edward Dick of the home. Other survivors include sons Gary E. Dick and wife AnDe of Albemarle, and Douglas Mark Dick and wife Angela of Albemarle, daughters Glenda D. Speight and husband Roger of Albemarle and Marsha D. Furr of Albemarle, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-granddaughters.
